A little about Skyler’s photography journey;

Skyler started off with a need to document their own creative work. This meant learning how to use a camera, that learning curve was pretty steep. Once they got the hang of things they felt this world of endless opportunity quickly opened up. Photography became a fun hobby where they could create with their friends and family. To evolve their skills Skyler branched off into taking hall photoshoots at anime conventions and later opened into photo bookings. Skyler had a desire to work with a person/cosplayer to create a series of photos, where they had time and locations picked out to work one on one. The hall photography at cons wasn’t allowing for them to pull people away from a crowded area, or a boring wall and bad lighting, especially when most times grabbing people as they walked by were usually going somewhere and didn’t always have the time to dedicate. With bookings Skyler chooses a fun location near the con, loves the thrill of uncertainty with the elements and creating storytelling and beautiful portraits that show off a cosplayer and their cosplay.
