Gilded Stitch is the brand, Skyler Cole is the artist behind the work.

Skyler is a professional textile artist with a BFA in textiles and fashion. They have been fabricating from scratch, cosplay costumes for clients since 2018, and weddings since 2023. Skyler has worked on some smaller theater productions in the Portland area and enjoys dabbling in anything theatrical or just for fun. Skyler has a dream to design for a movie production!

Driven by a commitment to high-level craftsmanship and the seamless translation of fantasy into reality, Skyler approaches every project as a unique exploration of textile and pattern making innovation. They are renowned for their bespoke approach, most notably ensuring that no two of their signature "Howl" jackets are ever identical, by elevating foundational designs with sophisticated details such as textural hand-beading, ornate lace, and custom embroidery.

Skyler’s methodology is rooted in a disciplined cycle of experimentation and pattern exploration, finding particular success in the rigorous challenge of adapting animated or literary characters for live-action contexts. By balancing character authenticity with visionary design, they transform simple concepts into commanding, light-catching garments that define the atmosphere of a room.
